Frequently Asked Questions

At the time of booking you are required to provide your mobile telephone number and email address. Results will be sent by text message and email within an hour of undertaking your test.

Rarely a test failure occurs. In this situation, the MyCovid testing clinic will contact you directly to arrange for a repeat test. Please contact the clinic directly if you have not heard from them in a timely manner.

Due to confidentiality, any person requesting a test will need to do this individually and you cannot book a test for anyone other than yourself.

Unfortunately, MyCovid only provides antibody testing for persons 16 years old or over.

Not all test centres have appropriate facilities for people with disabilities. We advise that you contact the MyCovid testing centre via their clinic page prior to booking your appointment to ensure they have appropriate access and measures in place to provide you with an antibody test.

In order to provide a safe service, you will need to attend your appointment alone. If you are travelling with others from your household who are also booked for a test, they will need to wait outside until their appointment time.

As soon as you are aware that you are unable to attend for an antibody test, please contact the MyCovid testing centre as soon as possible so that they can cancel your appointment and re-arrange it for a more suitable time.
